Mr Vasilios Papastefanou completed his basic training in Athens, Greece. He has completed two Medical Retina fellowships at St. James` University Hospital in Leeds and at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, a two-year fellowship in Ocular Oncology at St. Bartholomew`s Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and a fellowship in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. He is currently a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal London Hospital and at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He has over 20 peer reviewed publications and over 80 presentations in national and international meetings. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and an Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist. He has been working extensively on Swept Source OCT and Swept Source OCT angiography since 2014 originally on the Atlantis and subsequently on the Triton Platforms.
