Vision Care for Homeless People

Vision Care for Homeless People provides a fully comprehensive, high quality eye care services to homeless and other vulnerable people in an accessible and friendly environment. Operating from homeless persons’ day centres, we run 9 clinics: 4 in London which includes a mobile service and clinics in Manchester, Brighton, Exeter, Leeds and Birmingham.

Our clinics provide glasses completely free of charge to 1,800 homeless people each year!

We also organize the annual Opticians Service at Crisis at Christmas. During the week over 80 volunteers form mobile teams to conduct eye tests and provide glasses to over 300 patients.
