A feast of features at the UK’s leading optical exhibition!

Optrafair is back, bigger and better, returning for its 40th anniversary across three days at the Birmingham NEC on 14 - 16 April 2018. For four decades, Optrafair has been showcasing the latest innovations from across the sector and uniting the optical community under one roof.

Hear from industry leaders and newcomers, and enjoy exclusive content you will not find at any other UK show across all sectors. In addition to an unrivalled selection of exhibitors, showcasing the latest equipment, frames and solutions and CET accredited education and business training, Optrafair 2018 will provide you with a feast of dedicated features covering all aspects of practice life.

Back by popular demand are the CET Theatre, ABDO CET Theatre, Window Dressing, and after their successful inauguration at this year’s show, the Business Theatre and FMO Networking Bar.

Optrafair is also delighted to announce three brand new features for 2018, the dedicated BCLA Contact Lens Hub, a fully choreographed Catwalk and Independents’ Lounge.

The BCLA Contact Lens Hub will be a dedicated feature devoted to all your CL needs. The BCLA and contact lens companies will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about contact lens provision in your practice and how you can make the most of this booming market.

The Catwalk will deliver a platform for fashion and frames to take centre stage with its programme of professionally choreographed catwalk shows, featuring the latest eyewear trends, the hottest brands, and captivating frames from leading suppliers. Not only a visual spectacle, this unmissable feature will create a buzz in the heart of the show and guide visitors on trend forecasting, provide purchasing advice and prepare you on how to tailor the correct style to your customers’ own tastes.

In addition, and for the first time, Optrafair will feature an Independents’ Lounge, where visitors will be invited to take advantage of exclusive content and offers specifically tailored for them – whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments and comfortable surroundings.

Optrafair's legacy is built on support from the industry's core representatives. If the FMO and Optician Magazine serve as the eyes, ears and mouth of the optical industry, Optrafair is its beating heart.

The Federation of Manufacturing Opticians invite you to register to attend the leading and most established optical event catering for the entire sector since 1978!
